2005 Larkmead Firebelle Proprietary Red Napa Valley
Larkmead was one of the four great Napa Valley wineries before prohibition and an early founder of the Napa Valley Vintners Association. Larkmead is proud to be embarking on its third century of crafting 100% Estate grown, 100% Napa Valley wines.
A beautiful, juicy wine with bright dark fruit. This is a bold and spicy -- yet very elegant -- wine.
The Firebelle is 48% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot. Aged for 18 months in 50% new French oak barrels.
